Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex

The Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex is a multi-purpose indoor competition and training facility located just north of Coughlin-Alumni Stadium. The project, which cost an estimated $32 million, completed construction in the fall of 2014.

The facility includes an eight-lane, 300-meter track and 100 yards of soy based synthetic turf, along with space for sports medicine, athletic training, strength and conditioning, physical therapy, hydrotherapy, observation rooms and office facilities.

From the North: From Interstate 29, take Exit 133 west (right) onto the Highway 14 Bypass. Turn left (south) on 22nd Avenue. Continue on 22nd Avenue until 11th Street. Turn west (right) onto 11th. Stanley J. Marshall HPER Center located at intersection of 11th Street and 16th Avenue.

From the South: From Interstate 29, take Exit 132 west (left) on U.S. Highway 14 (Sixth Street). Turn north (right) on 22nd Avenue. Continue on 22nd Avenue until 11th Street. Turn west (left) onto 11th Street. HPER Center located at intersection of 11th Street and 16th Avenue.

From the East: Continue on U.S. Highway 14 (Sixth Street) to 22nd Avenue. Turn north (right) onto 22nd Avenue and continue until 11th Street. Turn west (left) onto 11th Street. HPER Center located at intersection of 11th Street and 16th Avenue.

From the West: From U.S Highway 14, proceed east on Highway 14 Bypass. Turn south (right) onto Medary Avenue (south). Turn east (left) onto North Campus Drive, which will curve around the north end of campus and eventually meet up with 16th Avenue near Coughlin-Alumni Stadium. HPER Center located at intersection of 11th Street and 16th Avenue.

 

Fishback Soccer Park

Fishback Soccer Park has been the home of the South Dakota State University women's soccer team since 2003.

The municipally operated facility is located at the intersection of Medary Avenue and 20th Street South in Brookings and has a seating capacity of 1,500. The Jackrabbits have enjoyed home-field success at Fishback Soccer Park, compiling a 39-18-10 home record in eight seasons.

The Jackrabbits played their first game at Fishback on September 3rd, 2003 defeating Si Tanka (Huron) 10-0, which is still the most goals in a single game for a SDSU team.

Fishback Soccer Park was the site of the 2009, 2010 and 2012 Summit League Women's Soccer Championship.
